Who we are

Damp Proofing Ammanford is operated by Octerly Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We're the data controller for the personal information collected through this website, meaning we decide how and why it's used.

What we collect

When you use our enquiry form, we collect whatever you enter into it, typically your name, phone number, postcode or town, and a brief description of the damp issue you're getting in touch about.

We also automatically collect standard website analytics: which pages you visit, roughly how long you spend on them, your device and browser type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for this, described in more detail in our cookie notice.

How we use it

We use enquiry-form data to respond to you, arrange a survey, and pass your enquiry to a local damp specialist so they can contact you about a quote. We use analytics data to understand how people use this site and to improve it. We don't sell your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

Enquiry details are handled through Go High Level (GHL), the customer relationship platform we use to receive and route enquiries, and passed on to the local damp specialist dealing with your enquiry once one is confirmed. Analytics data is processed by Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) under their own privacy terms. Each of these may store data outside the UK or EEA, under their own legal safeguards for doing so.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, plus a reasonable period afterward for our own records, then delete or anonymise it. Analytics data is retained according to Google's and Microsoft's standard settings for Analytics and Clarity.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it, and you can object to us using it for certain purposes. To do any of this, get in touch using the details below. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
